Dear son, hoping you are still in good health as all at home are the same got love p.* from you and have sent a parcle (?) to you but don’t know when you will get it. Jaeh (?) & Charlie have just come out of Hospital Jaeh (?) with a bad shoulder & Charlie with a bad knee. Milree (?) is married and her boy went to France 8 days after they were married. That is four months ago but has been missing 6 weeks on the 15 of sep. George is home again for good father has had a bad foot been in hospital. But we keep smiling an’ longing to see you again. Sevgili oğlum, umarım sağlığın yerindedir. Evdeki herkes aynı. Gönderdiğin p.* aldım ve sana bir paket (?) gönderdim fakat ne zaman eline ulaşır bilmiyorum. Jaeh (?) ve Charlie hastaneden yeni çıktılar. Jaeh (?) omuzundan, Charlie dizinden şikayetçiydi. Milree (?) evlendi ve kocası düğünden 8 gün sonra Fransa’ya gitti. Aradan dört ay geçti; Eylül’ün 15’i itibariyle 6 haftadır gelmemiş olacak. Kayınbabası ayağından hasta olduğu ve hastanede yattığı için George eve döndü. Ancak bizler gülümsemeye devam ediyor, seni göreceğimiz günü hasretle bekliyoruz. Bir daha buluşacağımız zaman hiç gelecek mi? Tanrı seni kutsasın. Annenden sevgilerle.
